Start der Nordic-Austrian Cooperation

As the world accelerates toward a circular, climate-resilient future, cities are at the heart of the transformation. The Circular Futures conference brings together high-level decision-makers, industry leaders, innovators, and researchers from Austria and the Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden—to explore concrete pathways and collaboration toward sustainable, circular cities.

Hosted in Vienna’s diplomatic and innovation hubs, this exclusive two-day program will combine strategic dialogue, hands-on learning, and cross-sector exchange. Participants will gain unique insights into pioneering urban initiatives and policies, from smart infrastructure to circular construction, energy, and design. A curated mix of keynote interventions, networking, focused workshops, and pitching sessions will foster meaningful collaboration between government, business, and academia.

The program also features a dedicated youth component, bringing in students and early-career professionals to shape the next generation of circular changemakers. Together, we will lay the foundation for a long-term Nordic-Austrian collaboration for impact at city level—and beyond.
